Still alive!

Hey folks!
Looks like my art hiatus is going longer than I anticipated. It's crazy how much time has flown by since I last posted. I haven't been very active on my social media accounts as I haven't been producing much artwork. Will share that we're expecting our first child soon, so that may be why I haven't been doing as much art lately, lol. We've been preparing the house for the new baby so that's been taking up most of my creative time and energy.
I did update my office to make it friendlier for creating art, so everything is there - just need to actually sit down and draw. I'd like to finish a lot of the pieces that I've been working on over the last few years, so we'll see.
Anyway! I am still alive - just keep getting caught up in so much other stuff. Love and miss ya'll! <3

Hiatus Update

Hi everyone!
I've been on a bit of an art hiatus for 2018 as I focused more on my writing and my health. Good news is that I've made great progress with my book, and I've lost more than 40 pounds! I'm feeling much better about myself personally, but I still have a bit of a ways to go with my health. My goal is to lose another 20 pounds by the end of the year. I've started running in the morning and reduced my carb intake. I've also started drinking way more water and made more of an effort to be outdoors.
Unfortunately, my work life has been pretty demanding, so a lot of times when I get home from work, I'm just too tired or too stressed to do anything creative. I'm continuing to try and find the balance so I can get back to my favorite artistic hobbies.
Also, I'm determined to do Inktober this year, so here's hoping I can do a piece each day! More writing and more art yesss!

2017 Convention Schedule

Hey everyone!
Lots have been going on lately, so that's why I haven't updated recently. Moving into a new home has been the main source of disruption to my art. I'm hoping to get back into creating new pieces again soon!

2016 Convention Schedule!

Hi everyone!
It's been a bit over a year since I last updated my deviantArt, and I apologize about that. I've really been using Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter a lot more. I've been spreading myself pretty thin on social media, hahaha. End of 2015 was pretty good for me, but 2016 had a bit of a rocky start. Lots of ups, but also a lot of downs. Either way, I'm back in the driver's seat and excited about making art again! I'm working on a few commissions that I received over the year and am hoping to get them out the door. In addition to that, I've been working really hard on improving my skills as a digital artist, and I believe that I've been making a lot of progress. Keep an eye out for my new pieces - I'll be uploading them!
I've signed up for a number of shows for this year! They include:
Tampa Bay Comic Con - Tampa, FL - August 5 - 7, 2016
Megacon Tampa - Tampa, FL - October 28 - 30, 2016
Jekyll Comic Con - Jekyll Island, GA - December 10 - 11, 2016
I'll update as I sign up for more shows! I already did Amelia Con, Collective Con, and Megacon this year - all were a lot of fun! I was feeling very inspired after Megacon and now I can't wait to finish more pieces in time for Tampa Bay Comic Con and the other shows.
